Let me tell you a little bit about why the construction of the building was interrupted. We had already finished the construction of the first floor. As we were about to start the second floor, I was pressed charge. The charge was that the construction was illegal as the building was on the land of the National Park. Before construction we talked to the Division of Forestry both in Chaiyaphum and Nakorn Rachasrima Province. The officers said it was none of their business as it was not the land that they were responsible for. The head of the National Park warned me about the problems that might happen. He told me to move the building further from the National Park for at least 6 meters. He explained that the GPS could be tricky or inaccurate, and they could press charge against me. To play safe I then moved 10 meters from National Park border.
When my wife and I arrived at the building, we waited for a few more people. Then Pastor Kang Seng and Pastor David Wu arrived. As we stood there and talked, Pastor Wu said he saw a battle field and the army of God and the army of the enemy were fighting fiercely. Many soldiers of both side died. Then he asked me about the history of this piece of land. I told him about my older brother and my father who bought this land 40 years ago. They built many buildings for the Temple which stood behind this land.
Pastor David explained that this piece of land, the construction site, was the Gate of Hell. He also told that in this world there were 4 places which were considered the ‘Gate of Hell’ and here was one of them. At one place a church was already built. He said if there was a church here, it must be big and strong in spiritually or else it could not survive. He was surprised that I could stay here alone. As he explained what he saw and the problem that might happen there, I listened calmly. But in my mind, listening to Pastor Wu was like listening to a sci-fi novel. I never knew Pastor David before. I just heard from what my wife told me about him. I didn’t believe him 100% but I ‘kept record’ of what he said.
Appointed to be a commander
Next morning we went to the construction site again to pray there. While we were standing and got ready to pray, I had some strange feeling so I took my shoes off and knelt on the ground. Everybody formed a circle. Pastor David asked me together with my wife to come and kneel in the middle of the circle. As we were praying, Pastor David stopped praying and walked around to find a long rod of wood. He tapped my shoulder with that rod as if to appoint or ordain me as a commander.
I didn’t remember all the details. It was like listening to a tale. I didn’t think if it was true or not so I didn’t pay attention to what he was praying or doing. I just thought that he was like other Christian pastors who like to prophesy. A strange thing that I remember was that all the clothes I took with me to wear on this trip was in green color like the soldier’s uniform and the way I walked in that area was like a soldier walking, my back straight, my head held high, my handgrips firm. It was like when I, 30 years ago, got dressed up in a military uniform (Navy). The way I walked made Janice , a Singaporean friend, surprised. She said I walked like a soldier to look over the battle field. Pastor David said the battle was over and the army of God had victory.
Pastor David
Until late morning, Pastor David came to talk to a lady whom I invited to pray at the construction site. (She was the one who prayed for me when I drove to Samui.) He talked about her past in front of me. This lady admitted to some hurts in the past and he prayed for her. That Pastor David knew her past surprised me very much. It made him more believable for me.
A few day later, this lady told me that while she was praying for me, she received a vision. In this vision I was in a battle field and was dressed in a white, shining armor. I was also standing with my leg apart and in my hand I was holding a white flag with flames of fire around that flag. She said I looked very handsome and confident, like a commander who has just won a battle.
Even though what happened was a surprise to me, my work at Chawengburi Resort was not easy at all. I was so busy and didn’t have time to reflect on what has happened. I thought it was like an ordinary prophecy. You listen to it with excitement and the next day you forget. Another week there will be another prophecy. So I didn’t pay much attention.
The tales of the land
Local people told me that every year there was a group of people dressed in white doing a ceremony at the ‘Gate of Hell’ area . They said the land that we built the building was a holy land. It would be an important site not just for Thailand but for the whole Southeast Asia. Elderly people in that area saw many strange things, for example, some spirits paraded in and out from here. I once visited a resort in Ubol Ratchathani province. The owner of the resort told me that in the past the land that I built the building belonged to the military, and it was controlled by the military spirits. He said if I forget about the building and move away, the charge against me will be lifted. However, I didn’t pay much attention and I didn’t tell anyone. Later on the Living Streams Church, sent their team to evangelize in this area. Within 3 months more than 200 local people accepted Jesus and in the fourth month a church with 400 seats was built. My wife and I donated this land so the Living Streams Church could come and start a new church.
Homecoming
In 2014, I attended the Homecoming for the first time in Malaysia. What I saw was people from various countries came together and confessed their hatred during WW II. Japanese people came up on the stage and asked for forgiveness for their army invaded many countries in Asia. But not very long I felt bored. Then I moved to sit near the exit so I could talk to other people, not just watched what they were doing on the stage. I became an observer. I came here because God told my wife that I should come. In this Homecoming I was not really impressed. But the best part of it was that I had a conversation with Pastor Gideon Chiu. Most people call him “Papa Gideon”. He is one of the founder of Homecoming movement. God uses him a lot. He said in the last day the Chinese and the German people will be responsible for evangelical work which used to be done by American people. I told him about my trip to Germany and my sharing with the Thai Christians in Germany. In my sharing I encouraged Thai women who mostly married to German husbands to support their husbands in the service of God. At that time I thought that God wanted German people to be responsible for the evangelical work and Thai wives would support their work.
From talking with Pastor Gideon I got the picture of God’s work at an international level and what the direction would be. I also met a pastor from Malaysia who didn’t attend the Homecoming but God guided us to meet with him miraculously. He prophesies and teaches in many countries also.
Hong Kong Gathering 2014.
God told my wife that I should attend Hong Kong Gathering. At first I did not want to go because I had a construction work at the resort and I need to supervise it closely. Finally, I attended the Gathering because I wanted to know what God wanted me to learn. I tried to talk to as many people as I could and observe what happened at the Gathering. This time most of the participants were the Chinese from the mainland, although not as many as in 2013 that my wife first attended. In this Gathering I saw clearly that God would like Christian people to be in unity as one body. But the question follows, to be in unity for what? I wanted the answer right away. In the last day of the Gathering, my wife met Pastor Gideon’s secretary whom we met when we attended the Malaysia Gathering. So she invited us to the prayer meeting and asked me to share with them. In the beginning I shared with them about the Christian Center in Chawengburi Resort for 2 minutes. They asked me to share more and they said, “You are doing some pastoral work already. Please share and don’t be afraid.” I talked about my trip to Germany and my feeling that God wanted me to buy a house there. And then I said something like prophetic words with the guidance of the Holy Spirit that there would be a big war and everyone would get hurt. I meant everyone. All of us had to be prepared. How can we prepare? The answer is to walk closely with the Holy Spirit and obey him. We cannot avoid this war and we must be ready to be a soldier of Christ. Then I talked about D-Day or the Invasion of Normandy, how the Allied Forces of Britain, America, Canada, and France attacked German forces on the coast of Normandy, France, and gained a victory that became the turning point for World War II in Europe.
The victory in Normandy determined the final victory of the Allied in World War II. Before Berlin was sized and World War II ended, there were many small battles that needed to be fought and won over. It is the same with the spiritual war. What I wanted to tell them was that the Holy Spirit knows the strategic points. We need to obey Him to win the battles. Later on people at the prayer meeting told me that I was the fourth person to share about the war. In my talk I focused on the spiritual war but in the spiritual war there will be a real war too. The world will be chaotic with wars and disasters.
Why does God try to gather Christians to be in unity? I got the answer on that day. It is to prepare for the big battle. It is an important recruitment for God’s army before the war between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Enemy starts. Everyone must choose which side he will be on. If you choose God, then you must obey the Holy Spirit. This is the rule since the beginning of time.
Since the creation of this World. Those who are on God’s side must learn how to obey and move in the Holy Spirit. When we are in unity, we can flight together in the big battle. Now the Kingdom of God is here in this world (read the detail in “ Why we sing ‘Joy to the World’?”). It is the confrontation of the two Kingdoms and the big battle is unavoidable. God comes to reclaim this world and all the things he created for Adam and Eva to rule.
Assess the situation
After the charge was lifted. My family has asked me to work at Chawengburi Resort, Samui Island. The Lord sent a prayer warrior to help me, the details can be read from ‘Memo of GM and the 3G Summit’. Surely the work at Chawengburi Resort was the combination of spirit war and physic war with staff who have been working here for so long before I came. Everybody has some benefit from this place. I tried to get more than 20 workers from Chaiyaphum to help me in Samui. But only two of them came, within a year only one stays up until now. It took more than two years for her to accept the Holy Spirit. She believed that she already had the Holy Spirit. From day one, when she accepted Christ, everything was completed. She just waited to go to heaven. That was her faith since she studied in the bible school.
Manage Chawengburi Resort
After working at Chawengburi Resort for a while I called a meeting with our staff and also with the spirits which reside in the resort area. It was a surprise to all staff! Then I laid the ground rules and told them that I am a child of God and have full authourity to rule over both men and spirits at Chawengburi Resort. The ground rules I use to manage Chawengburi Resort consist of 3 things, faith, hope and love. Faith here has two meanings: first is obedience according to the line of command in your department. Second is the knowledge in the area that you are working in. Hope is, I hope that all the staff will have commitment to make the resort better. Also they must hope that this place will make their life better too, until the day they leave the resort. For Love, I believe in the benefits of both parties. Love is reciprocal. I cannot love my staff in one direction only. You must respond by loving me also. This will make both parties better. And for the spirits that resided in the resort area they must not reveal themselves to the staff or else they had to go away. In the mean time I allowed them to stay but in future they had to move out.
A deal with the spirits
I made a deal with the spirits because I was not ready to fight with them.
My wife and many Christian brothers and sisters told me to chase all spirits away from Chawengburi Resort and to destroy their houses. I was reluctant because a lot of people came to pay respect to the spirit house in the resort. Some people traveled from far away every year. Local people knew that the spirits here are very powerful and I needed to be more careful. I negotiated with them by setting the rule that they could not reveal themselves as the staff was afraid to walk alone at night. I commanded the spirit not to interrupt our work or make any problems. If they obeyed this rule they could stay but eventually in the future they had to leave. They obeyed the rule and didn’t make any problem. Our work went on smoothly. I allowed pastors who visited me to cast out the spirits according to their faith and their practice. But the spirits were still there and the work of the resort went on smoothly.
The reason I didn’t cast out the spirits because casting them out meant I decared war. But I was there alone and was not ready to fight. People come and go. For them it doen’t matter whether the spirit would leave or not. It was not their problem but my problem. I have this experience before when I worked in rural area. Christians from the city come to visit and destroy the spirit house and problems happen to the owner of the house. Finally the owner of the house has to beg the monks from the temple to come and help. Some people also have to sell the house and move to live in other place. Most Christians come to visit and suggest that we should destroy the spirit house and cast out the spirit and then those who give suggestion go back home. I stay here alone with no one to help so I didn’t do according to what they suggested.
Decided to destroy the spirit house.
Until one day I decided to destroy the spirit house and problems started. At that time I was so exhausted from having to flight with many problems. One sister from Living Streams Church came to visit me and told me that I needed to teach Christian staff here. She said, “You cannot flight alone. You need helpers.” I told her I hadn’t read Bible for more than 20 years. I had nothing to teach. She replied,”I believe in you. You can teach. Just think what you should teach them.” Finally I decided to teach about moving in the Holy Spirit. The staff that came to learn my teaching has helped me a lot in fighting with the spirits.
In fighting with the spirit until the situation came back to normal. But it took years because those who move in the Holy Spirit were just a few. When we destroyed the spirit house at Chawengburi Resort, the resort business came to the lowest point since the start of the resort. Our staff including me lost heart because the number of the guests was so small. We had to reduce the room rate as never before. I invited many famous pastors to come and cast out the spirits many times. But nothing improved. This led to our staff taking things more seriously. They became more responsible, for example, they walked around the resort area 5-10 times a day, morning, noon, evening and night time. About a year, the situation became better. Now we walk 2-3 time a day only.
The lessons that I have learned in this warfare at Chawengburi Resort can be summarized as follows:
1. Our team must be enough and must have the Holy Spirit and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
2. We have to know our duty and be responsible with discipline.
3. We must be careful and keep our guard. If we are weak, the enemy will return. They will attack us back.
4. Don’t depend on other people. It must be a local team in that place, especially the owner must be in that team. Other people outside are just advisor. They come and teach or suggest some strategies only.
When did I become a commander of God’s Army?
During the battle with spirits and problems at Chawengburi Resort, many people are concerned about me especially Pastor Kang Seng. Once he asked the prayer warriors of the church to come and help pray for me. One of them saw me in her vision. I was standing on Samui Island, my body as big as a giant. This vision made other people less worried in my flights with spirits in Chawengburi Resort. Her vision also reminded me of the vision of a prayer warrior lady who went to Chiyaphum with me. She saw me wearing a white armor. I was also remined of my command, “Attack! No mercy”. It seems I have become a general in God’s army. But since when? And there is another question. Why didn’t I start an attack when I first came to Chaiyaphum, when the problem just started? I still cannot find an answer to this question. Maybe it was because in that day when I announced an attack there were many leaders from the church who walk closely with the Holy Spirit. That was great power, enough to attack the enemy. This is just my guess.
Another time during 3G summit in April 2016. I also stopped the army of the enemy not to interrupt the meeting. You can read from the “Memo of GM and 3G Summit”. During that time I was so confident that I could face everything. I was quite confident that I could lead the Army of God.
In summary I have told you about the battle between the Army of God and the army of the enemy. The battle started because the Kingdom of God has arrived in this World. God’s rule will be more and more in everywhere. The war between the two Kingdoms are unavoidable.
The devils inside
What I told earlier was the case study regarding the casting of evil spirits from Chawengburi Resort. We now have control at some level. But because it is an open area, controlling the spirits there is not easy. Nowadays there is no problem. What needs to be done now is to cast out the demon that resides in each one of us. This is the most difficult to understand. But I will tell you what my experience and try to explain as best as I can. Other people may have different techniques or experiences.
How can we cast the devils inside us?
Surely no one likes to have the devil inside himself. Usually we don’t know who has the evil spirit or not. We can notice only during worship time, when our worship becomes very deep in spirit. The first sign that we can notice is coughing or vomiting. If we worship much deeper, we will start to speak in tongues. At that time the level of worship is spiritually deep and people with the evil spirit will not be able to sit in the meeting room. But not everyone who has the evil spirit will manifest this symptom of coughing or vomiting. When we first started the Christian Center in Chawengburi Resort, during our worship some people started to cough or vomit with saliva and some Christians would lay hand on them to cast out the devil. I did not know whether it was successful or not. But I notice that the cough would get better.
Once I visited a church. The pastor asked me to cast out the spirits in the church. They believed I could cast out the evil spirits. Actually it was my first time to cast out the evil spirits. That church was small with only 20 members. Almost everyone had evil spirits. The casting of the evil spirits in each of them was different. For one Christian sister, when I looked at her and was about to walk to her to cast out the evil, she suddenly sprang up from the floor. It was a sign of terror. She jumped very high. People near her had to hold her when she came down, otherwise she would get hurt. The following week I went to that church to cast out the evil spirits again. But that week there were not as many evil spirits as in the previous week. I was surprised why we could not cast out the evil spirits completely, just “once and for all”.
Later on I started the Sunday worship at the Christian Center in our resort. In our worship at, I also had to cast out the evil spirits quite often. One day I was fed up with casting out the evil spirits because it hinders us from learning other things. I told the members that if anyone visited other churches I will not cast out the evil spirit for them. I explained that most churches that they visited would ask them to lay hand on the sick or bless people, or sometimes to cast out the evils. If they are not careful enough in doing this, the evil spirits may come into them. I said I myself do not lay hand or pray for anyone. I will do it only when the Holy Spirit leads me. I advised them that if anyone asked them to lay hands, you must refuse. If they cannot, then do not go to that church again. Finally our members do not go to other church to worship and they are more careful in laying hands. The result is they have no evil spirits inside themselves ever since.
Why teachers say everybody has evil spirits and has sin?
I have heard many pastors and bible school teachers say everybody has evil spirits and everybody has sin. Even the pastors and the teachers themselves! But I believe that I don’t have the evil spirit and have no sin. I told this to one pastor but he didn’t believe me.
The reason I said this because now I am living my life in the Holy Spirit completely. I do not stand in the realm of flesh. And the most important flesh is the Bible. I do not mean that I do not read the Bible. I do read the Bible according to the Holy Spirit. This means when I read the bible, the Holy Spirit guides me and gives me wisdom to understand. I do not respect the Bible or worship the Bible like many people.
To put it another way, I hold on to the Holy spirit as first and foremost. The Bible comes second. I will read only when the Holy Spirit leads me and gives me understanding. The details can be read in “How I became the son of God”.
No evil, no sin
When there is no evil, there is no sin. This is an important technique that I receive from the Holy Spirit. It is the secret that gives us victory in the spiritual warfare. That means you make the Holy Spirit the first priority in your life. Nothing is better or superior. We need the Holy Spirit to guide us in everything including our understanding, faith and our action. We need to be one with the Holy Spirit. You can call this as ‘being filled’ with the Holy Spirit. But whatever words you use, the aim is to have the Holy Spirit the first thing in your life and to let Him into everything with no exception. The mistake that a lot of people make is to have the Bible or the commandment the first thing in their lives. They hold on to the teaching in the Old Testament.
A clear example that the law or commandment is second to the will of God can be seen in the appointment of the high priest. Usually the high priest would be appointed according to the law. But Jesus was appointed to be the high priest by the Holy Spirit. This show you that the obedience to the Holy Spirit is very important and God is satisfied with this attitude. Time has changed. The Holy Spirit is now greater than the law. We also have to change accordingly. This can be read in “Why flesh fights with the Holy Spirit?” and “When we become a child of God” If you read carefully you can be one without evil spirits and without sin.
I would like to summarize my points.
1. Why do we have the spiritual war? It is because God the Father has come to take back what He once created.
2. Types of warfare
2.1 Between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Enemy.
2.2 Fight between us and evil spirits that reside in the area or in the territories: the case study of Chawengburi Resort
2.3 The fight between the Holy Spirit and the flesh (or the evil spirits inside us) and the big flesh is the law.
3. The type of warfare within us and outside us.
4. Know yourself and know your enemy. We must know why we have to enter the war. And why we need to size the land. The enemy also has the same purpose. We are fighting to get all that the Lord God has created in the beginning, back to Him.
5. We need to know our strategy and enemy’s strategy. The internal strategy : Have victory over the law (sin) by accepting the Holy Spirit and become a child of God; seek the Kingdom of God and has the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The external strategy: war between the Kingdom of God and the enemy, we need the Holy Spirit to lead the Army and we need to obey the Holy Spirit.
6. We must have discipline and obedience because the Holy Spirit will determine which tactics we must use.
7. Put on the whole set of the armor of God: faith, truth, peace, salvation, the sword of the Holy Spirit (the words commanded by the Holy Spirit), prayer and the gift of the Holy Spirit. So you can talk to God all the time. These things most church have taught their members already.
8. War Room to look over the area we are responsible or to give advice for those who go out and fight. Intercession needs to go on but we need to include topics or points suggested by the War Room.
